The Ampersand in West London
The Ampersand building in the heart of London’s West End consists of four floors of Category A office space and two floors of high specification residential space totalling 64,000 sq ft. Every inch of the building required 2 cleans, a builders and a sparkle and the immense amount of glass both external and internal proved particularly challenging due to its high positioning but thanks to our investment in technology and equipment we were able to complete the job in the agreed time. We continue to work with McLaren on numerous projects in London and the south.
One Queen Caroline Street
Spread over 8 floors and totalling 84,000 sq ft One Queen Caroline Street in Hammersmith working with Bowmer & Kirkland. Due to very tight construction deadlines Bowmer & Kirkland were under immense pressure to finish the project on time which made it that much more important TKC worked very closely with our client to achieve the desired results.
Amongst other things the clean involved cleaning hundreds of metres of air conditioning piping attached to the ceiling 4 metres above the floor which meant our team of IPAF qualified operatives were used for the duration of the project.
Goodman Fields
TKC were awarded the construction clean at Berkeley Homes’ prestigious Goodman Fields 7 acre development in the heart of the City. TKC’s operatives clean 398 units 5 times consisting of 1 builders clean and 4 sparkle cleans with the option of 1 further sparkle clean.
Holiday Inn in Manchester
306 bedroom hotel by Holiday Inn in central Manchester. This project required all floor and furniture protection to be removed from each room and from every window frame and then each room, communal area and all back of house to be cleaned twice. Finally at the end all external glazing was cleaned by our reach and wash window team.
We work very closely with our client McAleer & Rushe and over the years have worked on countless projects with them ranging from large hotels to even larger office blocks from Bournemouth to Aberdeen and from Dublin to London.
Ageas Hotel in Southampton
This project consisted of cleaning Hilton’s new 171 bedroom Ageas hotel in Southampton.
An immense amount of re-cleaning was required due to challenging construction issues faced by our client but by working closely with Powell’s and TKC’s ability to adapt to our client’s requirements the project was delivered on time and to the clients requirements. We continue to work with Powell’s on numerous projects.
The Range
The Range is recognised for its unique variety of goods offering more than 65,000 products across 16 departments. TKC are an established partner for CDS Group Services who are contracted to roll out every new Range across the whole country. For over 4 years we have assisted CDS and The Range with all of their builders and sparkle clean requirements as well as the treatment and sealing of their floors. The stores average around 20,000 square feet and require teams of 12 CSCS operatives 5 days to complete a builders and a sparkle clean and to seal the vinyl flooring with 3 separate coats. The work is predominantly carried out at night allowing the stores to be empty of all trades whilst the fit-out is being finished.
Boots
County Contractors have an ongoing contract to re-fit hundreds of Boots across the country and TKC have been working alongside County taking care of all of their after build and sparkle cleaning requirements. One day we can be cleaning a Boots in Guernsey and the next in day in Glasgow. We build strong working relationships like this whereby we become almost an extension of our clients and they know no matter what changes are made last minute, TKC can accommodate and get the job done.
Olympic Stadium
We have worked on numerous stadiums including Arsenal’s Emirates stadium, Wembley and Tottenham’s White Hart Lane. Prior to the 2016/17 football season the Queen Elizabeth Olympic Stadium was converted into West Ham’s new football ground. We worked tirelessly all summer with our client Portview Construction to clean all of the hospitality suites, restaurants, bars and communal areas to have everything ready before the start of the season. This project proved to be extremely challenging due to countless hard to reach and extremely high areas however our IPAF qualified operatives along with our state of the art cleaning equipment managed the job and the season kicked off on time.
Wembley Stadium
Wembley Stadium needs no introduction. TKC carried out a builders and a sparkle clean on the 3500m2 Booby Moore Room when it was re-developed by Portview Universal Fit Out. The Bobby Moore Room is one of the largest spaces of its kind in Europe with extremely high ceilings which meant our PASMA and IPAF operatives worked on this project which lasted several weeks. We continue to work on countless other projects for Portview including all of their work in Harrods, Harvey Nichols and the re-development of White Hart Lane stadium.
Unite Students
Consisting of over 800 studios and rooms, 50 communal kitchens and numerous leisure spaces each area was meticulously cleaned by our fully trained CSCS operatives. We were also cleaning 2 other Unite sites for different clients at the same time meaning we were cleaning over 1200 units simultaneously as well as catering for numerous other ongoing projects.
Scape
TKC have worked with HG Construction on numerous different projects. This project, Corsham Street, London consisted of 541 student accommodation studios with communal facilities, retail areas and over 4000m2 of educational space. The work consisted of both a builders clean and a sparkle clean whilst the exterior windows were cleaned once by hand from scaffolding and then given a final sparkle clean by reach and wash prior to hand over. The external brickwork also required jet washing from the scaffolding.
